Thank you. Will you give a good home treatment for gout?

According to a 1950 study, eating one-half pound of cherries or drinking an equivalent amount of cherry juice prevented attacks of gout. Fortunately two companies, Enzymatic Therapy and Now Foods make a Black Cherry Extract supplement that is easy to take and has amazing results. Cherry fruit extract lowers uric acid levels and contains flavonoids that inhibit formation of inflammatory leukotrienes. Fish oils limit inflammatory leukotrienes too which are linked to the inflammation and tissue damage seen in gout.
Our support documents on "Nutrition and Gout" mention that current research is pointing to insulin resistance as the main reason for elevated uric acid levels.
Avoid refined carbohydrates, which include most bread, pasta, bagels, muffins, cookies, soft drinks, and all types of sweets – basically all foods made with sugar, other concentrated sweeteners, white flour, and white rice. Because these refined foods rapidly increase insulin levels, they can elevate uric acid levels. Eating whole, natural foods is best for optimal health (see attached).
